On the 25th of January, all 19 higher education institutions across Scotland came together with partners across Scotland to back a new campaign to welcome students from around the world: ‘Scotland’s universities welcome the world’.

British Council Scotland is supporting this new, global campaign to celebrate the diversity and inclusivity of Scottish education. Scotland’s universities are already home to over 180 different nationalities among their students and staff, and they all have a global outlook.

The campaign was officially launched at an international Burns Night event attended by Scotland’s First Minister, Nicola Sturgeon, alongside over 350 students, dignitaries and university staff from 72 different countries around the world.
